Sorowwa Resort & Spa Habarana, Habarana

We had a lovely stay at this hotel while visiting Sigiriya and the Dambulla cave temple. The location by the lakeside provided stunning views and an opportunity to see some local wildlife. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond. However, the dining options were only average and the spa experience fell short of expectations.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel, surrounded by the beauty of nature and a peaceful lake view. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. However, my first room left much to be desired as it was in a noisy basement location. I eventually had a wonderful room with a balcony overlooking the lake, which made the stay truly special. The Wi-Fi in the rooms wasn't great but the stunning views made up for it.

I had a decent stay with lovely views overlooking the lake and friendly staff who made me feel at home. The rooms were spacious, but they weren't soundproofed well and there were quite a few insects that came in when I opened the balcony door. While I enjoyed the food, some improvements in the room amenities would make it an even better experience.

My stay at Sorowwa Resort was truly delightful. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the reservoir, and the wildlife around the area is simply stunning. The delicious breakfast is one of the highlights of my trip. However, I wish I could have spent more nights there to fully enjoy everything they offer.
